Check it outIt's an app that showcases used bikes which are available for selling along with all details. Users can filter the bikes as per categories, brands, prices etc. There are options to add bikes to wishlists and compare between various bikes. Users can also place requests for bikes which they are interested in and sales representatives would get in touch with them. There's also an admin button through which the selling company can make changes or add new items on the app.
Manan explains, "The simplicity and speed that can be offered by Google Sheets and Glide to create something that would have otherwise taken almost 3x the time."
1. Speed - creating something quickly with a low learning curve, Gide is great place to start. Don't get stuck building something big until you have validation.
2. Admin controls - this is a great solution to allow for other "sellers" to log in and be able to add new items. Essentially Manan is using this as a marketplace. There are other solutions for this like Sharetribe that are much more robust and expensive. This is a great starting point and easy to implement.
3. Users communication - finding an out of the box solution like this that allows for communication this way is difficult to build on your own even with nocode. This is a huge advantage of using Glide here because reducing the friction in facilitating a purchase cannot be overstated.
